The consultation model consists of observations, initial suggestions and coaching, data collection, planning, coaching and evaluation. Families who choose consultation may do so for their child attending a school that does not have the resources, or could benefit from a consultation on behaviours of concern. The consultation model provides progress logs, with suggestions on how to build capacity within the service team surrounding the child or young person. School and Individual Behaviour consultations often occur in a school, community or recreational setting, outside of the home. )

From time to time, families that we work with require us to attend meetings with them, or on their behalf to help articulate the work that they’ve been engaged in. In order to access this service, we will have had to be working with you for at least 3 months, or as determined on a case by case basis. As part of the consultation packages we provide written reports to record services, recommendations and progress reports for your own use.
